CRAFTED WITH PASSION AND DEDICATION IN NEW ZEALAND
THE BIKE

The ‘Engrich ART’ motorcycle was created to showcase the very finest of precision engineering and design. The only fully balanced large capacity 360° parallel twin in the world utilising a reciprocating tungsten balance system.

With over 200 beautifully crafted CNC machined components and sand cast engine cases, the Engrich ART is one of the finest luxury motorcycles created.

BEGINNINGS

The ART engine project commenced in 1999, with our aim to design and build a fully balanced large capacity 360° parallel twin, utilizing a 1/2 stroke centrally mounted reciprocating tungsten balance piston.

THE TEAM

John Appel (engine), Warwick Richardson (engine and chassis), Leigh Richardson (engine and chassis) and former member Peter Thompson (engine).

ENGINE START UP

The engine was started for the first time in 2014. After completing a successful testing program (dyno and on road), Engrich Ltd began a seperate project to design and construct a luxury road going motorcycle.

BIKE COMPLETION

The ‘Engrich ART’ was completed November 2019.

Concept bike number 1 is now promoting Engrich Ltd and exploring future opportunities.
